TapioR Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 Started bidding from $70 for 4* in USW-Nob Hill two days ago. Went up to $79 and although I had by then included all the seven areas in the city, no luck. Started bidding again yesterday from $80 in USW-Nob Hill. Can't remember which areas I added for my $81 and $82 bids, but I was happy to win The Stanford in Nob Hill for $82. Used the PRICELINE link on this site btw.I didn't have any particular strategy as this is my first trip to the USA and San Francisco for me and my gf (we're coming from Finland). I really like this site and will definitely use Priceline to find us some nice hotels in LA and Vegas as well. The Stanford Court, A Renaissance HotelCalifornia Street At Powell StreetSan Francisco, CA 94108415-989-3500 Check-In: Saturday, May 2, 2009-04:00 PMCheck-Out: Tuesday, May 5, 2009-12:00 PMSummary of ChargesRoom Cost (avg. per room, per night): $82.00 (USD)Number of Rooms: 1Number of Nights: 3Room Subtotal: $246.00 (USD)Taxes and Fees: $47.32 (USD)Total Room Cost: $293.32 (USD)
