Priceline Hotel: 3 star in San Antonio

Hello,

I am looking for a 3 star or better from April 2 -5 in San Antonio. I will be visiting my wife at Lackland Air Force Base so if anyone knows of something close please let me know. I can also use a rental car and flight for these days. I am looking to spend around $600 but am open to what is available.

I am just looking for the best rated hotel(3 or above) and I am willing to use Hotwire, Priceline and it can definitely be a non-opaque(I used to work for a travel company and those were always the best deals!). I also have to buy an airfare ticket but the cheapest I can find from April 2-5 is $249 on American Airlines but I hate riding on American Airlines, I much rather Jetblue or Delta. I have to arrive early on Thursday and depart late on Sunday(after 8 pm). I could also use a rental car for these days.

Are you going to wait until your airline tix is confirmed/purchased before committing to the hotel portion of your trip?

You can start with our new sister site BackUpBooking.com, enter Lackland Air Force Base San Antonio in the search box and you'll see the hotels located within the given radius that you select.

Your least expensive deal will probably coem thru bidding on PRICELINE... but then you'll be subject to any hotel in the zone at the minimum star rating you select, and not know how close it will be to the base (other than within the confines of the shaded region of the zone boundaries, as defined by PRICELINE)

Yes I am ready to make the purchase, I do not really care which is the closest to the base as long as it is nice. I would love to have a 4 star for 300 or less for those 3 nights if that is possible.

The first quote you posted referring to price was including a flight. Second was not :)

The highest star level currently offered in the South San Antonio zone is 2 stars (below your 3* minimum)... did you want to include another zone or did you only want to try the Downtown-Riverwalk zone?
