Preparation:

(1) Read through the postings and found $30 bid for Holiday Inn (3*) in Vancouver downtown

(2) Use $30 as potential goal and decide to start from $28

Bid history:

First attempt: Date: 3/8

(1) $28: rejected, downtown 3*

(2) $30: rejected, downtown 3* + Langley

(3) $32: rejected, downtown 3* + Langley + N. Vancouver

Second attempt: Date: 3/9

(1) $30: rejected, downtown 3* (PL asked to increase $8 to rebid the same zone, I ignored it)

(2) $32: rejected, downtown 3* + Langley

(3) $35: accepted, downtown 3* + N. Vancouver

Total cost: $35*4+$31.11(tax, fees)=$171.11
