waiting2retire Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 I am thrilled with my first Priceline win! Needed one night pre-cruise and decided to treat myself to either a Resort or 4* in the Ft. Lauderdale Beach area.I knew I was low when I started bidding at $90, but you never know! Rebidding by adding areas without Resorts or 4*s, I finally got the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort for $135 plus taxes. This is the hotel I really wanted, but didn't think I had a chance of getting it when it is showing on most sites for no less than $350 for the night I wanted.Great deal, and I remembered to go through the BetterBidding PRICELINE link too :)Thanks!

Disciple Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 I have a question.A Resort is better then a 4* hotel?I'm planning to get a great room at Fort Lauderdale, the preference in on the beach.I want to bid in Priceline... I'm bidding 4*... But it looks that a Resort is a good deal too.Can somebody help me with this?
