Hotwire Hotel: 4* Chicago (Loop) Palmer House Hilton

Hey! I just stumbled on your site last night and have really learned alot. I am looking for a 4 star or above on the mile for friday the 13th. We have been to chicago several times but always stayed at the palmer house. We are looking for a hotel that is more contemporary. There is a 4 1/2 star for 96..from what im reading i would guess its conrad or intercont. Then there is one for 143...i have no idea what that one is. I dont mind staying in a 4 star as long as it is contemporary and has nice sleek bathrooms.

Any guidance at all would help!

Really wanting something more modern than traditional.

I'm seeing both a 4* and a 4.5* on my current HOTWIRE search for your dates so i'm not sure which one you're actually looking at (on my search the 4.5* is priced at $95/nite).

This amenity combination is common for large cities, and Chicago is no exception, as there are multiple properties in this zone which used these amenity icons. There is no additional information shown by HOTWIRE to determine which one is most likely, but you can start by looking at the Hotwire Hotel List to see which ones match. However, given you have specific 'wants' for this stay, i don't think this offering is going to be much of an option for your since it matches multiple properties.

I don't know if even a remodeled Palmer can pass as "modern", but it's a nice hotel and hopefully they've done a nice job on the renovation. Enjoy your stay. :)
