KUMatrix Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 Although I have been reading these message board A LOT the past couple of days, I'm still split on how to go about booking my hotel room through either PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. I'm going to Vegas for the first two days of March Madness and will need a room from 3/18 until 3/21Priceline wants me to move to $122, but I'm affraid that I'm bidding on TrumpHotwire has $132 and I'm pretty sure that it is Wynn.Any suggestions!? Does anyone think that the HOTWIRE price will move at all in the next couple days?

KUMatrix Posted March 6, 2009 Author Report Posted March 6, 2009 I bid $85, $90, then $95. I think I might have screwed up my original attempt
thereuare Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 There is no way to target, or avoid, a particular property when bidding on PRICELINE... you need to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the minimum star rating (or higher) that you select. If you don't want the Trump i would recommend taking the HOTWIRE offer... it may cost you a little more, but at least you know you'll be getting something you want (or at least avoiding the hotel you don't want)If you'd like help identifying the HOTWIRE property currently offered please post the amenities HOTWIRE associates with the property. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
