I'm looking at starting a bid for a Hotel in Ka'anapali/Lahaina, Maui, for 3/7-3/10.....but, can someone share with me the difference between the 3.5* vs Resort option. A resort is shown as a higher median - but, I don't want to end up at some of the 3* Resorts.

Any advice would be great appreciated.

nyc_adventurer - Welcome To BetterBidding!

You will not get a 3* hotel when bidding on 3.5 or the R level. When bidding at PRICELINE you're bidding at the minimum * level you will get.

You can get a 4* when bidding at a 3.5*, but you can never get a 3* when bidding at a 4*. The diffrent * levels explained can be found at the official PRICELINE site.

Please use the boards PRICELINE link when bidding.
