JNTT Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 I'm going to Vegas 4/16-4/19 and want to get a great deal. We want a 4* or 5* on the strip, but need to have a room with the option of 2 queen beds. Can you give me some advice on what specifications I should choose before bidding ? It looks like lots of people have been getting the Wynn, which I don't think offers 2 queens. Can you give me some advice ?Thanks!
thereuare Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! With PRICELINE you can't guarantee two beds in the room. If you need two beds i would sooner user HOTWIRE and search for quad occupancy which will guarantee 'sleeping accomodations' for everyone in your group... but note the 'second bed' could be a rollaway, pullout sofabed, etc and not necessarily a 'true' second bed.Not sure of your budget but another option would be to consdier bidding on PRICELINE for two rooms... the deals thru PRICELINE can often be more than half off, which would make two rooms cheaper than booking one room direct (as well as provide more space and an extra bathroom/shower which makes getting ready to go out easier)Let us know your thoughts, budget, and how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. JNTT Posted March 3, 2009 Author Report Posted March 3, 2009 Those are great ideas! I was thinking $99 per night. I will fish around on HOTWIRE and see what I can find.
JNTT Posted March 3, 2009 Author Report Posted March 3, 2009 I found 4 start central strip for $129/ night. Amenities listed are casino, fitness center, pool, spa, business center, restaurant, golf course nearby. Any idea which property this might be ??
thereuare Posted March 4, 2009 Report Posted March 4, 2009 The above is a match for the Treasure Island so that would be our best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
