The map view of zones leaves out some(or combines them) that are given when bidding on a room. I can't seem to locate the highest star ratings for these areas.

San Antonio North-Stone Oak

San Antonio East

San Antonio Northeast

San Antonio Northwest

San Antonio South

I'm trying to get a 4* in the downtown river walk area and want to make sure I don't select the wrong zone when rebidding.

Thanks for your help! I'm using the PRICELINE link from this site to bid.

4* in San Antonio Riverwalk North?, $84, 3/06-3/08

Fitness, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed

Is this most likely Crowne Plaza?

Edit: $99

Welcome to BetterBidding!

If you read the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List it specifically mentions NOT to use the hotel lists to determine your re-bid zones. The proper way to determine your re-bid zones outlined here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained

Please read the above link and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board. (HINT: at the 4* level you have SIX re-bid zones)

Also, please read your messages.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my initial post. I was using the strategy mentioned in that post not the hotel lists on this website.

I believe my first post asked the board for help did it not? I fail to see the helpfulness of telling me to ask the board for help in the future when I specifically asked-which zones are not 4* zones?

In re-reading your initial post it appears that you're using the "retail" product of PRICELINE to determine which star levels are in each zone, and this is not correct process.

If you focused on the content of our comments above (rather than trying to find fault with them) you will see the correct way to determine your re-bid zones detailed in the Priceline Re-Bidding Explained thread. Have you read thru this thread? :)

We make sure that users understand how to determine their re-bid zones rather than just list them since these need to be checked before every bidding cycle. We could list a zone as being a re-bid zone, and inbetween the time we post and the time you bid, PRICELINE could add a hotel to this zone (or a hotel in the zone could be upgraded) which would make it no longer eligible fo re-bidding... and you could then end up in a zone that you didn't want. (based upon your post above, i can only imagine what your comments would be like if that happened)

After reading Priceline Re-Bidding Explained if you're still confused or don't understand something in that thread let us know and we'll try to break it down further for you.
