SFO Car Rental

I'm confused by both HOTWIRE and PRICELINE concerning car rental at SFO. Both sites show "shuttle" to Hertz and Avis. I would think that this might refer to the AirTrain to the car rental building, but they don't show "shuttle" to Thrifty or Enterprise which are only a few feet away from Hertz and Avis. What's the deal?

Yes it is through the retail part. I was going to go to the bidding site but then I got worried when I saw the word shuttle. Don't they use Avis and Hertz in the SFO Car Rental Center? If so, why do they have them listed differently from Enterprise, etc. which are also in the Car Rental Center? Thanks.

That information is likely supplied by the car rental companies and if you're familar with the airport and location of the rental counters and lots, i would use your own knowledge to 'supercede' the information supplied by PRICELINE or HOTWIRE.

Others here know this airport better than i do, but is it possible that Hertz and Avis have shuttles in addition to the AirTrain service while Hertz and Enterprise rely solely on the AirTrain for their customers?
