Just to clarify, are you saying that you heard that it was hard to get a room in Copenhagen but found this easy OR that you had bid this a few times and found it difficult to secure a room?

Sorry about my bad choise of words. I thought that it was difficult getting rooms through priceline in Copenhagen in general. That is because there are quite rarely posts about succesful bids over there. It seems to be very few hotels there that have come up. They are the 3*Mermaid, 4*Palace and the 4*Marriott. These are the only three I have read about. I was prepared for the Palace, which has a great location, but is quite old and the rooms need redecorating. That's why I was glad to get to try the Marriott. Thanks for the great forum. Much nicer than the TOBB.
