Welcome to BetterBidding!

Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.

There is no way to insure both purchases, for different dates, land the same hotel.

You could either bid one room for one nite and one room for two nites... or two rooms for one nite (so that they're eact at the same property) and then bid for another room (which may be at a different property, making the person staying the additional nite having to change hotels)

The HOTWIRE property has not yet been identified.

As I see it I have 2 opthions. The first is booking the hotel on PRICELINE for 2 rooms for 2 nights and go for a price that will still be worth it.

The second option is using HOTWIRE that publish only one 4* hotel in houston gallria. I called them directly and was told that this can represent more then one hotel so I decided not to try that for now. From your experience is that true?

By the way currently the lowest price a 4* in the galleria is 169 per night

I'm not really sure what you asked them or what their reply meant, but perhaps this will add some clarity...

HOTWIRE will only show one hotel at each star level in each zone (the lowest priced hotel is the one that is shown). As per the Hotwire Hotel List there is more than one 4* hotel reported in this zone, so there multiple options, although only one will be shown on a given search.

Does that make sense?

Another option you may want to consider... although you asked about 4* properties, there is a 3.5* property offered in this zone for just $49/nite, with: Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business icons. This is a match for the Hotel Indigo so that would be our best guess, and the hotel gets very good reviews.
