RMDJW Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 Priceline bid $49 for Medford-Somerville area two and two-and-a-half stars for the same four nights, rejected. Added Burlington-Woburn, lowered bid to $45. Accepted. One room, four nights, $180. Taxes and Service fees: $27.25 for a total of $207.25. In my experience this is excellent for a relatively close Boston suburb.
thereuare Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 Can you clarify the zone and/or whether this was a Priceline or a Hotwire purchase.Hotwire lists the zone as you did (Burlington-Woburn) but Priceline's zone is listed as (Woburn - Wakefield). You talk about bidding so i think it's a Priceline bid, but if this was Hotwire could you also list the amenities Hotwire listed to describe the hotel.THANKS! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
RMDJW Posted August 23, 2004 Author Report Posted August 23, 2004 This is Priceline, not Hotwire. It was Woburn-Wakefield, of course. I had earlier checked Hotwire (Burlington-Woburn) and found nothing at such a good price as this. Good editing!
