Hey guys, I'm a College student from San Diego heading to Vegas for the week or weekend of 3/30-ish to 4/5-ish (depending on the pricing).

I'm going to head out with one or two friends for that week and we are trying to figure out the best way to get a decent price without getting something off-strip and or something on the lower-end i.e. Hooters/Tropi-can't-a. I stayed in the latter, and I have to say it was awful.

I have no idea where to start but I have been to Vegas a few times and know which hotels to avoid (see above) or which we would like.

Some Hotels we are looking for are:

Planet Hollywood*

Caesar's

Monte Carlo

TI

Mandalay Bay*

Mirage*

(*preferred)

Price Range per night:

anything up to $120 but obviously the least expensive the better.

Any help or pointers we receive will be much appreciated. I will definitely post the results of our trip on here as soon as we make a decision...

THANKS!!!
