Hotwire Hotel: Major Hotwire Booking Issue: Given wrong area! (Charleston, SC Boo

I recently (2/24) bid on a 2.5 star hotel in the Ashley River area in Charleston, SC for $59 on Hotwire.com. When the bid went through they booked me for the La Quinta Inn in North Charleston. I was very upset given that I agreed upon an entire different area of the city that is 10 miles away AND less desirable! After talking for 45 minutes on the phone with customer service, being on hold most of the time, they stated they could not verify that it was a web error and thus they could not offer me a refund. I asked to speak with the supervisor who essentially said the same thing and was equally unhelpful. I have spent close to a grand on Hotwire in the last year, know the site very well, and this has never happened before. What is my recourse in the situation? Should I call again and hope I speak with a different (more helpful) representative? What advice can people give me?
