Heidi K Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 I'm looking on Priceline and see a 4* for $129 per night 3/16-3/17 at DFW North. The amenities are Shuttle, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center and Internet. Similar to the listing for the Grand Hyatt (which should also show golf?) or the Westin (which should also show Laundry?).I'm wondering if anyone knows which one it could be. Normally either would be OK, but I'm doing a layover between flights and will have two small children with me and will be arriving late, so staying right in the terminal is strongly preferred over dealing with a shuttle. If it's the Westin, I would probably opt to make a regular (senior rate) reservation at the Grand Hyatt for $100 more since the thought of catching a shuttle at night with small children and all our stuff is not too attractive. But if it's the Grand Hyatt, I'd be thrilled with that rate. Thanks!
AaronJB Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)Are you still seeing this same listing when you search? When I search for DFW 1 adult/2 kids for 3/16-17, I see a 4* in the DFW North-Grapevine area with the amenities: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf for $99 (the price you see may vary slightly), which would be a match for the Grand Hyatt. I also see this listing when searching for 2 adults/2 kids. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes or if you have any questions.
Heidi K Posted February 25, 2009 Author Report Posted February 25, 2009 Thanks, I used the HOTWIRE link above and got the Grand Hyatt for $99! You are awesome!I'm not sure why I saw a different price and amenities last night. I am positive it didn't show golf, if it was the same listing. But today it did come up just as you described. My search last night was a little different in that I didn't include 2 children in the search. The children are under 2 years old and Hotwire's interface only asks about children 2 and above. Could this have made a difference in the results?Anyway, thank you for the help. I really appreciate it.
