Couldn't get a downtown hotel up to $55. Made several attempts and ended up with this one that isn't in the hotels list here or elsewhere. Holiday Inns are not my favorite.

Hope this HI is better than most, although at a 2* rating i'll hope for the best for you. I think perhaps the negative view many have with Holiday Inns is their own fault by having such a varying range in the quality of their properties... we see some ranked as high as 3* while others (like this one) are rated 2 star. Hard to maintain a brand when there is no consistency.

I'm pleased with this one (checked in an hour ago). It's quite good for 2*. They have everything they need to qualify for 3* (restaurant, nice lobby) if they just renovate the rooms. With my plain Priority Club card I'm getting free local calls, and now using the free hotspot in the lobby. That's all I need :-) I'll write a review later.
