flyme2
I need help identifying this property:4.5*Customer FavoriteRestaurant(s)Fitness CenterBusiness CenterI've tried matching it up with properties from the packages, but have yet to see a 4.5*. How much of a customer favorite can it be if they don't even offer it with their packages? Link to comment

flyme2
Interesting. I just assumed that if they participated in the opaque product, they would also be marketed with the package.Dates are Sep 18-20. As always, thereuare, thanks for all your help and guidance. Link to comment
thereuare
I have no confirmation, but based upon the Customer Comments i'm going to guess the Westin. It talks about the great beds and that it's within walking distance to all the local shopping... and i believe both apply to the Westin. However, at $158/nite this is not a good deal. Would you really consider this when slighly lower ratings are offered at less than half the price? As well, the Westin website has this for $149/nite. travelingWise
I was wondering about the same hotel! For Sep 3-5, though, it's only $124 per night. So what makes the Westing get that extra 1/2 star? I figured the next ones listed were the Mariott City Center and Hilton, and I don't see how the Westin is worth almost twice as much per night?!The same search results for me include a 3 star with free breakfast, laundry, high speed internet access. Anyone know which property that is? Again, I was intrigued, and wondered why this 3 star was $98 when the 4 and 3.5* were only $68 and $71.I ended up using Priceline instead, and will post my results there, but since I may still need another night, I'd like to know as much as I can about these others. Thanks much - and I'm glad I found this site! travelingWise
Started bidding at $51 - rejectedContinued to bid up adding additional areas (found that none of the other Portland areas include any 4* hotels, so there are like 7 chances).$56, 61, 65...$66 - finally accepted1 room2 nights$132.00 subtotal$24.07 Taxes & fees$156.07 Total chargesLike the last poster, I REALLY was hoping for the 5th Ave Suites, since I had already booked 09/06 there via their phone reservations (they matched Expedia's $126 rate with no hesitation). If we like the Benson well enough, I may cancel the 5th Ave and just stay all nights here. Link to comment
