Any guesses as to which hotel this might be:

3.5* Dupont Circle - Embassy Row

March 16-20, 2009. 2 adults - 1 child

Amenities: Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet

Looking at the Hotwire Hotel list post, the only two 3.5* hotels in that area that have all those amenities are the Embassy Suites and the Hilton Embassy Row. The Westin City Center comes close but it doesn't have a pool.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

In the Hotwire Hotel List there is a comment next to the Hilton Towers (NOTE: this is a different property than the Hilton Embassy Row, which is also in this zone) that there is reason to believe that it has been downgraded to the 3.5* level... and that would be a match for the above and our best guess.

Note that there is no report yet of the Hilton Towers being downgraded, but i'm speculating that it has been and that would be my best guess as to the property you're seeing above.

I stepped it up to $100/night trying the Conv Ctr Capitol Hill and White House areas with no luck. Added Dupont Circle and reduced my bid to $80 and got this one. It is partially under renovation, but the price is right especially for spring break time in DC.
