Congratualtions on your success!

Hope you're happy with the results and this works well fro your needs.

It's usually not recommended to lower your star rating and increase your bid like you did, as explained in this thread: If You Lower Your Star Rating Then Lower Your Bid Price. Feel free to ask any questions in this regard and/or ask for help before bidding for your next trip.

Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICLINE link to begin your bidding.

Enjoy your stay.

Thanks for the advice thereuare :)

but I think I wouldn't get it if I lowered the price

because I immediately tried the same price ($57) for our last three nights in LA (3/18 - 3/21) and it was rejected.

Also, I already tried $55 yesterday for 3* and it was rejected :)

You also had two re-bid zones at the 3.5* level and one at the 3* level, so you could have used those to incrase your price at the same star level, then if rejected 'wiped the slate clean' and lower your star rating.

It may not have made a difference for this stay (and i wasn't aware of your previously failed bids the day before) but mention it as it may help your future bidding, as well as for anyone else following along.

Enjoy your stay.
