Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to maxmize my free rebids (link).

Let's say I want to stay in MTW or MTE, 4*.

So, how should my bidding strategy work?

A. MTW, 4*

B. MTE, 4*

C. UES, free rebid

D. UWS, free rebid

1. A

2. A+B

3. A+C

4. A+D

5. A+B+C

6. A+B+D

7. A+C+D

8. A+B+C+D

Is this list correct? The thing I'm most unsure of when is I should 'rebid' or start a totally new bid. Do I only rebid at (2) and (8)? Do I start totally new bids for the others?

You can maximize it even more. Assuming you would prefer A, start with A like this:

1. A

(skip your #2)

3. A+C

4. A+D

(skip your #5)

(skip your #6)

7. A+C+D

(skip your #8)

Start again with B:

B

B+ A

B+C

etc.

Finally, if you need to, you get to A + B + C + D.

I always start a new bid every single time (and I head back to SavingsBarn.com to support the board). It helps me see each separate bid in my profile. You don't need to do this every time, but it helps me sort it out better.

And every time I can just go back to the homepage and start a new bid?

Looking at the list, you left out B+D and B + A + D and B + A + C.

Hopefully you won't need to get that far.

Yes, you can just start a new bid every time if you want.

I just wanted to add that I did a search on hotwire for you dates and they have a 4* Midtown customer favorite for only $149 per night on your dates.
