oldAGE Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Mea Culpa... botched the sub-topic format...Needed a simple overnight at the airport for a Sunday, Oh Dark:30 departure.Multiple failed attempts in the MIA Int'l Airport zone for $50 at 3* and received the "...try adding $14 to the bid now..." responses. Now that I am approaching the 9th hour, I didn't have time to mess around any longer so I tried the following:28 Feb - 1 Mar 094* MIA Int'l Airport Zone bid $60 -- rejected.Lowered Star Rating and kept pricing:3.5* MIA Int'l Airport Zone bid $60 -- accepted.3.5* Doubletree Miami Mart/Airport Hotel pricing out at $60 + $15.63 taxes and service fees = $75.63I don't like the idea of paying $7 for parking and will see if I can drop the car off after dinner and ride the shuttle back to the hotel and back to the airport again on Sunday a.m.Now it's time to make sure that I have enough pull through my HHONORS history to get two beds otherwise, the four of us are going to be cramped in that King.... :)
