Priceline Hotel: 4* Phoenix (Scottsdale) Mondrian

Once again, this board and its bidding strategies helped me get an awesome deal. I got a 3 night stay (Thurs - Sunday) at the Mondrian in Scottsdale, AZ for $75 a night. On the hotel's site, the same 3 night stay averages $245 a night.

To make it even better, my wife had said a week or so ago, "You think we could stay at the Mondrian when we go to Arizona?". She said this knowing full well that there wasn't a chance in hell I would spend $245 a night, when I could most likely get a 3 1/2 - 4 star hotel or resort through Priceline for under $100 a night. Sure enough, after 5 re-bids, each time adding $5 to my initial $50 bid, never wavering from my 4* requirement, the Mondrian pops up as my confirmed hotel.

Thanks again....this site has saved me mucho dinero ever since I discovered it years ago.
