clbencemunns Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 For February 26-March 1st, Hotwire gives me...3* in Clackamas $49 per nightSmoke Free RoomsFitmess CenterPoolsRestaurantLaundryHigh SpeedI don't see a 3* inside thier map area with a restaurant? Any ideas appreciated.
tilepusher Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 I found two hotels in Clackamas with on-site restaurants: the Courtyard Portland Southeast and the Monarch Hotel and Conference Center. Since the Monarch has smoking rooms, my best guess is the Courtyard. If you decide to book this hotel, please use the Hotwire link on this site to begin your purchase.
clbencemunns Posted February 18, 2009 Author Report Posted February 18, 2009 I just booked this room via the HOTWIRE link, you were correct, it's the Courtyard (thanks!).Feb 26-March 1st, 20093* Courtyard, $49 per nightAmenities as listed aboveCheapest advertised rate I found about $90 per night. Thanks again, this'll work great for me.

Rebel Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 Thank you for using our HOTWIRE link to begin your purchaseI tried the HOTWIRE link, and after 10 minutes never did find a bidding page, just discounted rates, so I quit. :) I see no link anywhere on their site to bid on anything. Should be prominently displayed on the home page, or at least on the search results page.Must have missed something.
thereuare Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 Both services are "opaque providers", but there is no bidding with HOTWIRE... only with PRICELINE.Start here which explains the similarities and differences between the two services:I've Never Used Priceline or HotwireIf you'd like help with your own stay please start a NEW TOPIC.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Thanks. Rebel Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 Both services are "opaque providers", but there is no bidding with HOTWIRE... only with PRICELINE.When there's a forum titled United States Priceline and Hotwire Winning Bids , naturally one would think HOTWIRE offers bidding. I wasn't aware they did, but thought maybe they were now competing with PL. Why is it called Hotwire Winning Bids if there are no Hotwire bids? :)
