I'm not seeing this property on a current HOTWIRE search... are you still seeing this property offered for your dates? If so, are you searching for more than one room or for more than the defaults 2adults/0children?

No, I searched for one room for 2 adults and I no longer see the property for the dates I initially searched (5/20/09 - 5/22/09). However, I did another search for different dates (5/21/09 - 5/23/09) and the property showed up again for $125 per night. Do you have any clue what this property is? Thanks for your help.

I don't know which hotel it is, but Expedia has several 4* hotels in central Florence that are cheaper than that for your dates, so I doubt Hotwire is a great bargain here.

This property has not yet been identified.

The Hotel Athenaeum would be at least one possibility, but i'm sure there are likely others that would fit as well... difficult with so few amenities.

Have you checked for alternate, less expensive options, at Expedia as suggested by WillTravel?
