mlb63 Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 I have never used Priceline or Hotwire. We want to book a flight to St Croix. If I put in the price I want, and enter my credit card, will they only charge that amount? I have heard others say in other forums that their credit card was charged a higher amount. I just want to know that when I put in my credit card information, the amount shown is the highest amount that will be charged.
thereuare Posted February 14, 2009 Report Posted February 14, 2009 If your bid is accepted the amount charged will be your bid amount plus any taxes and fees (the taxes can be quite high on airfare)... but the total is shown on the 'confirmation' page before you click the "BUY MY TICKETS" button. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. mlb63 Posted February 15, 2009 Author Report Posted February 15, 2009 Is there are booking fee added on after you click buy my Ticket that does not show on the confirmation page?
thereuare Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 The line TOTAL TRIP COST is the amount you will be charged if your bid is accepted. You'll then be subject to the same rules/regulaations as any other ticketed passenger, so if the airline awarded charges for the first checked bag and you choose to check a bag, you'll pay the same fee. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
