Priceline Hotel: Resort Miami (Beach) Renaissance Eden Roc

Ok finally I got my Sat and Sun nights:

I went for the 4* hotels after all on Priceline.

rejected at $175, $185, and $190.

Finally accepted at $200

Renaissance Eden Roc Beach Resort & Spa

So in total $910 plus taxes for 5 nights in two "4* hotels" in Sobe/Miami beach which works out to $182/night.

I'm a little disappointed that the Eden Roc is listed as a 3* on tripadvisor although the 3.5* traveller ratings are encouraging.

I think this weekend's rates were affected by Valentine's Day (the list rates on most websites for that night for these two hotels are roughly $300-475) in addition to the usual high seasonal rates.
