Husky359 Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 I looked through 6 pages and looked at the list, and the amenities it is showing me isn't much, so I don't think you'll be able to tell me. But here we are:March 1-3, 20094* Sea World I-Drive South, $68, pool, restaurant, business center, high-speed internet3*, Sea World I-Drive South, $38, fitness, pool, business center, laundry, high-speed internet3*, Universal I-Drive North, $38, pool, restaurant, high-speed internet3.5*, Universal I-Drive North, $55, fitness, pool, restaurant, business center, laundry, high-speed internet3.5*, SeaWorld I-Drive South, $66, ftness, pool, restaurant, business center, laundry, high-speed internetAlso, what are the chances I would be able to get a king bed after getting one of these hotels? What is the likelihood it would only be 2 doubles? We cosleep with our son and need at least a queen. My husband thinks it is unlikely that these hotels would only have a double bed, is this most likely true?Would I be better off using Priceline?
thereuare Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! It's a time consuming process to identify hotels, especially in an area such as Orlando where there are thousands of them, so let's try to narrow the field a bit to try and get you what you're looking for.To begin, you don't need to search thru pages of posts as we maintain a Hotwire Hotel List where you can see hotels that have previously been reported and the amenities associated with each. If you get a match for something above feel free to have us confirm before you move forward with a purchase.HOTWIRE guarantees "sleeping accomodations" for each person you include in your search, other than that, everything is a requesst, which the hotel may or may not be able, or willing, to honor. If you include 2adults/1child on your search you can be assured that the room will accomodate at least three people (thus eliminating the potential for just one double bed), but do note that the 'second bed' could be a pullout sofabed or a rollaway brought into the room.HOTWIRE seems to be a bit more accomodating in that, while i don't know if a written rule, customer service reps have agreed with users that one double bed is not enough for double occupancy... PRICELINE on the otherhand lists that a room could have one double bed in order to accomodate double occupancy... although my personal thoughts is that a room with one double bed for double occupancy in this area seems not very likely given how they typically cater to families. With PRICELINE, there is no way to request a room for more than double occupancy. So let's start with the above, let us know your thoughts (and if PRICELINE or HOTWIRE is still an option) and we'll take it from there. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.PRICELINE would Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
