I'm guessing that the 3* might be a downgraded Hotel 71 (which was previously 3.5*) The 4* would be a likely match for the Hyatt.

Personally, I'd rather recommend the Hyatt out of those two, but in terms of the Hyatt, I think you could potentially get it for a lot less via PRICELINE. I'd recommend bidding for $60 for a 4* in the Millennium Park-Loop-Grant Park area on PRICELINE and seeing if that is accepted.
