thereuare Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! To begin, if price is important, i'd recommend expanding your zone preference beyond just Times Square. See our thougths/comments here: Hotels in Times Square.Let us know if you're willing to expand to other midtown zones and we'll take it from there. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. imma_travelin Posted February 11, 2009 Author Report Posted February 11, 2009 i want to ideally stay at the best spot to get around to.. i want to be able to make an easy trip to the theater district and catch a show on broadway and also be within distance of the club scene. any advice?i know a friend of mine lives Lower East Side but i dont really know where that is to anything.. I want a good location at a good price... im open to all ideas/possiblities
thereuare Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Did you read our Times Square Hotels thread? Just about anyplace in Midtown will be easy for you to get around. At the 3* level you may want to avoid some MTE properties so you can leave that out of the mix (if you're bidding less than 4*) but otherwise most midtown locations should be good for your needs. Also, as per my comments in the link above, Times Square is very touristy and you won't likely be spending much of your time there... great place to go, see the lights, stop into the 'novelty store' (Disney Store, M&M store, etc) and then be on your way. There is no "club scene" in Times Square so you're going to have to go elsewhere for that anyway.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
