13Logan Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 I'm planning a book hotel rooms in London. I'll be alone in my room, but I want to avoid getting a single room, which may have only one twin bed, be quite smaller, and perhaps even located in the worse part of the hotel. Am I correct to think that on Hotwire, it would be better to bid for one room for two persons even though I'll be alone? (On Priceline, by contrast, I understand that a room can always accommodate at least two persons.) Must I provide the name of the ohter person in the room? (I've never bid on Hotwire before.)Thank your for your advice and thoughts on this.
thereuare Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Yes, if you want to insure that your room will be large enough to accomodate two people, even though you'll only be one person, include two people on your search. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you find offered thru HOTWIRE for your dates and if we can be of further help. 13Logan Posted February 10, 2009 Author Report Posted February 10, 2009 It does not seem I can edit my post - I forgot to insert "London" in the subject.
thereuare Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 These amenities are common for a city hotel, but these amenities match the Crowne Plaza Shoreditch so that would be my best guess (slight chance the Hilton Islington but i see some things there that make me discount this as a possibility)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
