Priceline Hotel: Resort Maui (Wailea-Makena) Wailea Beach Marriott

I just got the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa on Maui from 5/5/09-5/8/09 for $125 per night!! After spending hours looking through the various posts and learning all I could through the wonderful site, I figured a start bid of $125 would be pretty low and would be immediately rejected. However, to my wonderful surprise, it was accepted, and, was my first choice hotel!

I used the PRICELINE link on this website. Great website!

The taxes were roughly $53 total, for the three night stay.

When I select the Wailea-Makena area in Maui, the maximum star rating is 3.5*

How are people getting the Maui Prince which is 4* ?

Also, what do I select to get the Mariott? Resort? Is it in the only resort that I can get in the Wailea area?

Please help me out!

You need to choose Resort. In my experience, this is higer than the 3.5 rating. That is how I got the Marriott Wailea.
