I found a 3.5* hotel in Rome central for 89$ per night with this amenities:

airport shuttle, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center with no trip advisor rating...

Has anyone a clue which hotel this is?

So at the end I decided to book a normal bed and breakfast via the internet...

Palazzo del Duca....very centrally located. booked it directly on the hotel homepage. Quite expensive but looks really great! Looking forward to Rome in April!

I don't believe so... it appears that was the B&B s/he booked direct.
