AaronJB Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Welcome to the site.PRICELINE doesn't guarantee 2 beds; if you need 2 beds, HOTWIRE is the way to go. The Hyatt in question is the Regency, as McCormick is not within the boundary zone of the Millennium Park/Loop/Grant Park area on PRICELINE.How many in your party?
hockeymom Posted February 6, 2009 Author Report Posted February 6, 2009 There are 4. 2 adults and 2 kids. Just wondered if most people got rooms with 2 bedshockeymom
thereuare Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 There is no rule of thumb in regards to what 'most' people get... it depends upon the hotel, their occupancy level, the mood of the desk clerk, what's available at the time of check-in, etc, etc.How old are your kids? Are you willing to have them sleep on the floor for 3 nites of a vacation if you should receive a room at a hotel that is unable, or unwilling, go give you a room with two beds? You don't want end up in a situation like this Priceline Chicago user.HOTWIRE will allow you to search for up to quad occupancy, and if you want to insure that you'll have enough sleeping accomodations for all four of you, HOTWIRE is a better option (or search for two rooms via PRICELINE)Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
