Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC (MTE) W New York

My husband and I are taking a short trip to NYC April 14-16 and would like a 4* hotel. Hotwire currently has the below hotel for $142 a night. I think that's pretty reasonable but wondered if it's a great deal? I just used your site and bid $95 on PRICELINE and was rejected.

4* - Midtown East

Oops, looks like I waited a day too long...that hotel isn't listed on HOTWIRE anymore.

Ended up using PRICELINE and got W New York for $135 a night.

I will set up a new post for that.

We were very surprised when the W came up but are happy. Looks like the cheapest room is about $280. Thanks Better Bidding!

As i often do recommend to those in this area, give Ess-A-Bagel a try for breakfast one morning (on Third Ave at 51st St)... one of the better bagels in the city and makes for a good, and inexpensive, breakfast among locals.
