Priceline Hotel: 3* Las Vegas (North Strip) Stratosphere

I'm a new registered user. After some initial reading of your Priceline and Hotwire threads, it looks like Hotwire is my only option if I am booking for 4, is that correct?

I have only used Priceline and planned on trying them again, but someone mentioned that Las Vegas hotels in particular are pretty strict about not giving you a room for 4.

Does anyone have any additional advice for a room for four?

Thanks!!!

Welcome to the site. PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed across the board. In some markets and at some hotels, people have found it reasonably easy to request two beds. New York City is one area where people have had a lot of trouble getting two beds from a PRICELINE reservation and Vegas has seemed surprisingly strict (not that hotels don't have the right, given that PRICELINE specifically states only one bed is guaranteed, but given the thousands of rooms in Vegas and current economic issues, I'd think they'd be a little more flexible.)

Long story short, if you do need two beds, I'd recommend HOTWIRE only.

Do you need help finding a hotel for specific dates?

Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let us know if you have any questions.

I searched some dates on Hotwire's site using 4 persons total ( 3 adults, 1 child). The initial search returned some good prices, but I noted that the additional person charges of $20+ per night, per extra person were not included. This REALLY adds to the total cost of a room.

If you are booking for more than 2 people, be sure to not only check the room rate, but look at your total cost.

Aaron, I may just book directly with an inexpensive hotel to ensure two queen beds, etc. ( BUDGET TRIP :-) ) Is there a way to do this and help this site?

If I end up using Hotwire, I will definitely use the links on this site.

I'm glad to have found this site and plan to use it everytime I use Priceline or Hotwire.

Thanks!

Can you give an example of a hotel where you saw this (dates, zone, and star rating so we can replicate on our own HOTWIRE search)

I don't remember exactly which hotels, but I do remember that it was the ones in the Fremont Street Zone.
