mikeycfa Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 Feb 6th - Feb 8thMontreal Downtown, 3.5* - $47Amenities: Fitness, Restaurant, Business. This doesn't match any of the 3.5* on the Canada Hotwire list. The closest match is the Ritz-Carlton (Which shows these 3 amenities + Internet) however this hotel is closed for renovations until April 2010 I believe. It also says that sometimes the Delta Montreal lists the same 4 amenities as the Ritz, so I guess it's a possibility - has anyone ever seen the Delta Mtl with just these 3 amenities? Any other ideas as to what it could be?There is a 3* star available the same nights at the same price which is should be the Holiday Inn Select which gets good reviews....but it would be nice to know what this 3.5* is......Mikey

mikeycfa Posted February 3, 2009 Author Report Posted February 3, 2009 I actually ended up renting an apartment for that stay and not booking a hotel, which is why I didn't follow up with it.Mikey
thereuare Posted February 3, 2009 Report Posted February 3, 2009 I actually ended up renting an apartment for that stay and not booking a hotel, which is why I didn't follow up with it.Ideally all threads should have some sort of 'conclusion'.If you were reading your other thread, or if you were one of the people that helped you in that thread, would it be better to see a post indicating that you chose to rent an apartment instead OR would it be better to have no follow-up whatsoever and be left wondering if you were successful, if you bid but were rejected, or if you made some other plans? Please follow-up that thread with the information above... then bump this thread and we'll have a look at the above.
