downey
I just read the following and I'm interested in the same thing. I have just reported 3 wins in the last week and would like any input on calling the hotels for my preferences. I did try to email one of the hotels but it bounced. Thanks :) After a successful Priceline hotel bid, for a 2-night non-resort stay made two months in advance, we wonder about timing for pitching a couple of special requests. Is it more advantageous to call the property immediately for king, non-smoking, etc., or wait until much closer to the actual arrival date? Our last (in fact, only other) Priceline experience involved a 3-week advance booking and a successful request call made just after the bid acceptance. Any rule of thumb advice? Thanks, Link to comment
thereuare
There is no "magic" time, but i would call immediately following my win... then again 48 hours before arrival to confirm the reservation and re-iterate any special requests. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
