BrinkleyNYC Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 First time HOTWIRE user here looking for some insight from the experts. Two 5-star options come up in the results and I'm trying to get some idea which hotels they might be.Dates: April 17-22Option 1: 5-star condo in Central Strip$119/nightStudioSmoke Free RoomsDaily HousekeepingAir ConditioningFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business Center24-hour Front DeskHigh-speed Internet AccessGolf NearbySpa ServicesKitchenetteCondoOption 2: 5-star hotel in Central Strip$139/nightCasinoFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpa ServicesI'm guessing Option 1 is Trump.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
thereuare Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! The first property is a match for the Trump while the second property is a match for the Wynn so that would be our best guess for each. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. BrinkleyNYC Posted February 1, 2009 Author Report Posted February 1, 2009 Cool ... thanks for the quick info! Based on the postings elsewhere on the site about Wynn walking folks for Valentine's Day weekend, should I be concerned about that happening? I'll be there during the big NAB convention and would rather not have the headache. I know there are no guarantees, but I wonder if this happened much during CES or other large conventions. Is it a regular thing in Vegas?(And I'll definitely be using the BetterBidding links to make my reservation!)
thereuare Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 My opinion is that the "wynn situation" was an honest mistake (altough it could have been handled much better) and an isolated incident... yes, a large number of people were effected, but it was for those with reservations within a specific date range, and i wouldn't expect this to be a 'normal' occurence. Thanks for using our PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
