Cart
I need help identifying the following hotel that I am receiving through Hotwire. It does not match any of the hotels listed so far. I will make sure I use the HOTWIRE link when it comes time to booking.Seattle Downtown Pike Place 4 starRestaurant, High-speed internetFeb 12/09 - Feb 13/09Thanks Link to comment
Colfax
That hotel hasn't been identified. Those are common icons that could describe any 4* hotel. Hotwire doesn't provide TripAdvisor stats with this one, and I can't find any hotels in Vacation Packages with those icons. My offhand guess is that this is the Sheraton or Westin. Those hotels play "hard to ID" on Hotwire---frequently changing their icons and hiding their TripAdvisor stats. It could also be the Edgewater, which appear in Vacation Packages with one more icon than you posted. (Fitness, Restaurant, Highspeed.)Since you can't know what the HOTWIRE hotel is in advance you might try PRICELINE first to see if you can beat Hotwire's $99 rate. Paying a premium to Hotwire makes sense when you have a good idea what you'll be getting. If it's potluck on both though you might as well go for the usually lower rate on Priceline.Did you notice Hotwire has a 3.5* for $68? That looks like the Red Lion on Fifth, which is very well located. Thanks for using the board's links. Link to comment
thereuare
The Sheraton has been reported with just these two icons before so that would be my best guess, but as Colfax points out, there could certainly be others since these amenities are common at most 4* hotels in a large city. However, here is another option for you...If you change your search from 2adults/0children to 4adults/0childen the price remains just about the same and a 4* hotel in this zone appear with Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, as well as a Tripadvisor rating of 4.0/5.0 with 300+ reviews... all of this is also consistent with the Sheraton, so if you're interested in this property, purchasing with these additional amenities (which are still quite common for a city hotel) and the TA rating information, would be a little 'safer' way to play it.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
