Couldn't find ANYTHING under 100 a night because of the inauguration, and just needed some place to crash after standing on the national mall all day! I lucked out and saw a 2* on hotwire for $59 and i knew i had a ton of rebidding zones, so i took my chances and lucked out!

I wasn't quite expecting to see betterbidding.com mentioned in an article about the dirtiest hotels in the USA, but hopefully more people will check out the board now! congrats!

For those that may be confused by the connection... the article was regarding the dirtiest hotels in the country, Hotel Carter wins the award (for which you can read the reviews HERE). The artilcle mentioned that the hotel's walk-up rate for a given nite was $99 while for the same nite there was a win posted on BetterBidding for a 4* hotel for $105.
