I bid $50-60 for all downtown DC neighborhoods (Capitol Hill, Dupont Circle Georgetown, White House), 4* only. All bids were rejected.

After moving up to $65, Priceline asked if I wanted to rebid immediately for $82. I put in the bid and it was accepted by the Renaissance M Street Hotel.

Cost breakdown:

Room Subtotal: $164.00 (USD)

Taxes and Fees: $31.50 (USD)

Total Room Cost: $195.50 (USD)

Priceline's retail rate: 159/night.
