mollylyn Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 I need help to ID a hotel...it's 3* near strip east...Amenities include:Complimentary BreakfastFitness CenterPoolLaundryHigh Speed InternetGolf NearbyThere is no trip advisor rating on the screen that I can find. I'm not sure if it is the Desert Rose because there is no 'suite' listed...also could be the Hyatt Place. Any help would be appreciated! Thank You!!!Molly
thereuare Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 Welcoem to BetterBidding! Please don't double post as your thread (for the most part) will be read in the order in which it was posted. This property has not yet been identified, but i'm going to guess that this is a new hotel and neither the Hyatt Place or the Desert Rose. The Hyatt Place properties have been mostly showing up with a Smoke Free icon, and if you look at the last report for the Las Vegas Desert Rose, whie the user didn't include the amenities, searching for the dates of that win shows a 3* in this zone wit the 'full' amenities that have been used to describe the Desort Rose in the past (ie- Suite, etc)You could see if this property appears for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'... if you're happy with the results go ahead nad purchase the remaining nites; if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay. What is the purpose of this stay... would something like the Stratosphere work for your needs? (it woudln't be my first choice of hotel or location, but neither would a 3* hotel in the near Strip East zone) Perhaps if we understand your plans for this trip we can recommend something comparable? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. mollylyn Posted January 29, 2009 Author Report Posted January 29, 2009 The trip is just for fun. It's my boyfriend's 30th birthday. We've been to vegas about 10 other times in the past 5 years, so we are pretty familiar with the area. We've stayed at Sahara, Ballys, Planet Hollywood, Rio, Westin, and also downtown at the Golden Nugget and the Plaza...so we've stayed a large range of places...some nicer than others :) We were just looking for something inexpensive but nice. We would love to stay at Planet Hollywood again. We tried priceline through here and keep getting a counter offer of 71 dollars, which isn't bad, but it gets to be expensive when you are booking for 7 nights. Thanks so much for your help, sorry for double posting :) I love this website and thanks for anymore help you could offer....we were thinking that it might be a new resort too because nothing is showing up on the trip advisor and my boyfriend has been living on the computer trying to figure this all out for the past couple weeks....since we leave so soon :o Thanks again!!!Molly
