dergon darkhelm Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 So I did an immediate follow-up to my previous week's Zurich hunt (linking from PRICELINE above)....and now I don't feel so bad about my $120 from the other thread.$110 and $120 both declined at first....but the $120 bid returned the "if you just add $22 to your bid you can try again" ...so I bid $142 and returned the Leonardo Hotel Rigihof Zurich. ......Don't see it on the Master List ---will ost there. Thanks again ....I'll let you know how this one turns out .......tripadvisor reviews seem solid enough. :)

dergon darkhelm Posted March 16, 2009 Author Report Posted March 16, 2009 Just a brief follow-up from my stay here on Sat night. The location is what I would consider as *barely* in the Central zone of Zurich......Rigiplatz is at the very far northwest margin of most of the "city center" maps given out by hotels and such. The exact margins aren't readily noted on priceline so caveat emptor.Easy access to the airport by tram though, so it worked out OK for us but I think that most people expecting Centrum will be a bit shocked by the distance of this property.
