JULIE0729 Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I need help determining which hotel I am seeing on Hotwire when I search Hotwire for a 4* hotel. I am using the address for the Intercontinental which is what I'm hoping for and am getting a quote of $123 for March 13th through 15th. The amenties are: fitness center, restaraunt, buisness center and high-speed internet. I would be fine with any 4 star in the area but REALLY do not want to get the "W Atlanta buckhead" which is super contemporary and not my taste at all. That's my only fear. I did do a Hotwire search with the "W Atlanta buckhead" address and came back with a quote for $122 and the same amenities. Any help would be great!!! I am new here.
thereuare Posted January 28, 2009 Report Posted January 28, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!Searching by address isn't going to 'make' HOTWIRE show you the hotel you want... you will still see the same results as if you had searched for "Atlanta", except they'll be sorted by proximity to your location instead of by "Best Value".Are you still seeing the same hotel offered on your HOTWIRE search... the 4* hotel i'm seeing offered when searching for your dates has a POOL icon in addition to those you've lised above. I forgot to include that but I noticed today that the rate is $133 for the same search. Also, if this hotel turns out to be the Intercontinental, how accomodating are they of a request for a King bed if the room is booked through Hotwire? I know that I would have to call after booking to make the request, right? Thanks!
