diva Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Hi,Im new. I need some advice on how to bid. I am travelling with my parents and a infant. Need a suite on the following from March 19 to March 22 09Vancouver Hyatt downtownVancouver Sheraton wall CenterVancouver Sutton PlacePls advise what is the bid I should put.? Of course I would want as low as possible and including Breakfast for $100 if possible. Pls advise
AaronJB Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Welcome to the site.1. If you have 4 people in the room, PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed. If you need more than one bed, the best idea would be to look to HOTWIRE instead.2. You cannot select a hotel with breakfast. If you need a hotel with breakfast, your best bet will be to book a regular rate - these services offer discounted rates because you have to be flexible. While HOTWIRE may have a suite property (designated by a "Suite" icon), there is absolutely no way to guarantee a suite (or any other amenity, such as breakfast) via PRICELINE.

diva Posted January 29, 2009 Author Report Posted January 29, 2009 HiNeed strategy to win Hyatt Vancouver , from 3/19/09 - 3/21/09 2 rooms. double bedsPls kindly advise what are the steps I should take to win. I would want to pay max US75 / nite.
thereuare Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 As noted above...1) you can't bid on a specific hotel2) you can't guarantee specific bedding... if you use PRICELINE all that is guaranteed is double occupancy, this could be one or two beds in the room. If you use HOTWIRE they will guarantee accomodations for everyone included in your search, so you could search for quad occupancy for each room, which wouuld guarantee two beds in the room (although the 'second bed' could be a pullout sofabed, rollaway, etc)Let us know how you'd like to proceed. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
