Hotwire Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Central Strip) Wynn

Hello, my first post! Excited!!! Please help me determine the hotel on Hotwire for:

4* Central Strip 2/15 - 2/20 $69

Amenities:

4-star hotel in Central Strip

This hotel features the following amenities:

Casino

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-speed Internet Access

Spa Services

Interesting Question: If I book 2 rooms, is it possible that I get 1 room in one hotel and the other room in another hotel? I essentially want both rooms in the same hotel : )

Okay, here's what I got:

I booked through HOTWIRE link and got the rate of $109 a night at the Wynn for 2/17-2/20. So 3 nights in total. The smoking and non-smoking issue concerned me. I called HOTWIRE, and they told me it is up to Wynn hotel's availability, but she did mention how they booked all their hotels as non-smoking room right off the bat. HOWEVER, I called Wynn shortly after and they told me it is not guaranteed and is subject to availability upon check-in! So upon check-in, I'm going to have to try the $20 tip and see what that gets me!

Any other suggestions as to how to get a non-smoking room once I've booked through them?

To confirm, you changed your stay from 5 nites in February to 3 nites in March?

As far as the non-smoking issue, i wouldn't worry about it too much. You can continue to try call the hotel periodically and hoping for a clerk who will note your non-smoking preference on the reservation, but even then, it will likely still just be a request. If you're willing to tip $20 i think it's highly likely you will get a non-smoking room (assuming one is avaiable, which if one isn't, you can always ask if they'll store your bags and allow you to check-in later once a non-smoking room is vacated and cleaned)

I've checked Expedia for Wynns' bare bones resort room and they are charging >$300 Canadian/night for the dates I want! Hotwire + betterbidding.com = gravy!

Now I'm on the hunt for 2 more nights on the strip. Hotwire maybe? :)

PS: To answer my "interesting question"... I called HOTWIRE and they said that if you book 2 rooms in one area, the 2 rooms will be in the some hotel. The lady sorta chuckled when I asked that question, but hey... you never know!

Hi! Congratulations on the wynn! =P I was wondering if by any chance when you booked, it said that the hotel was 2.9 miles away from mccarren airport. I'm trying to book with HOTWIRE...and i found a 5 star central strip for 109. Anything to help me would be great! Any details at all would be great! I'm trying to get Wynn or Venetian would be great since we're going to see a show at venetian. Thanks! Good luck with the nonsmoking.

The milage is from the center of the zone, so all hotels that HOTWIRE showns in the Central zone will show the same distance from the airport.
