Cowgal Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Looking for help on bidding for 4* or Resort for 4 nights 3/8-3/12 in San Juan. Does it help to bid on 1 nite and extend stay or bidding on all 4 nights at once?Bid Resort and 4* and went up to $122 through rebids.Budget is $140-150 /night.Would it be wise to wait or bid up to maximum limit sooner?I will do future bids using the PRICELINE link

Cowgal Posted January 19, 2009 Author Report Posted January 19, 2009 Looking for least expensive 4* or better. Thanks!
thereuare Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 Also, in regards to your other question concerning "extending your stay"...The option to extend your stay is not always given, and even when it is, it's not guaranteed that you'll be able to extend your stay. As well, you can only extend your stay for the same number of nites that you have bid or less... so you can't purchase one nite and then try to extend the stay for 2, 3, or 4 additional nites. If you want to try for a 4* or higher with a $150 maximum....At the 4* level you have FOUR re-bid zones available. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.(NOTE: 're-bid zone1' is not the same as priceline's Zone1, 're-bid zone2' is not the same as priceline's Zone2, etc, etc)Select 4* San Juan...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $100, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $115, if rejected add re-bid zone3...Bid $130, if rejected close browser and use our link to re-access PRICELINESelect 4* San Juan and re-bid zone4...Bid $135, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $140, if rejected add re-bid zone2...Bid $145, if rejected add re-bid zone3...Bid $150Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
