MariaC Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 HiGoing to be in NY with Mum from 04/07 to 04/15 (8 nights)We would prefer to stay in the "New York City: Downtown - SoHo - Financial District" area..... though will look at Midtown East or West if required Want 3 - 4* hotel but the budget is quite tight at around 90$ per night (pre taxes & fees)How likely am i to above within the price range? Any help welcome..... Thank You!

Downtown is generally less expensive, but keep in mind that it is a longish trek to get to Midtown if you are trying to see the sights. You may want to consider something like 4 days downtown and 4 days in midtown.I think $90 is possible for a 3*, but probably not much less than that.

I'd start at $80 to bid for a 3* in the Midtown or Downtown areas and then increase by $5 24-hours later if it isn't accepted.Please use the site's link to PRICELINE to start your purchase.
