bojangles311 Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 I dont know whether to use priceline or hotwire to get the Wynn. I know its never guaranteed but with the risk of using priceline I hold the risk of getting the Trump, WHICH I DO NOT WANT! I will take any suggestions. Thanks. I also wouldnt mind Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock, The Palms i.e. Thanks BetterBidding! :)
AaronJB Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 There have been many, many people posting recently about hotels they do and don't want; as I've said recently, PRICELINE is a gamble and you do have to risk potentially getting a hotel you don't want (for example: the Trump) if you want to use PRICELINE.What is your budget per night?
bojangles311 Posted January 16, 2009 Author Report Posted January 16, 2009 $150 a night budget, but it looks like I see the Wynn on Hotwire on those dates going for $179. Can somebody confirm? I might consider it. Thanks guys.
thereuare Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 What are the amenities that HOTWIRE is associating with the 5* property you believe may be the Wynn? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. I might consider it. Thanks guys.On Hotwire the Wynn will be listed as 5* on the North Strip. If it lists kitchenette as an amenity, it is the Trump, not the Wynn. Also, make sure it is on the Strip, not near it.
bojangles311 Posted January 16, 2009 Author Report Posted January 16, 2009 Ok here are the amenities... 5 star center stripCasinoFitnessPoolRestarauntBus centerHigh speedGolfTennisSpaI found out now that This matches up with the venatian. Which I may end up doing....would you guys suggest waiting a few more days to book to see if any other options open up on HOTWIRE. Let me know. Thanks again for input!
AaronJB Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 If you wait, you run the risk of having a situation happening like this poster had with Vegas: Las Vegas Hotel PricesLet us know what you decide and if you have questions.
thereuare Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 ....would you guys suggest waiting a few more days to book to see if any other options open up on HOTWIRE.Nobody can say if rates will go down between now and your stay... or up! Current prices reflect all the 'known', and predicted, information the hotel has regarding current and future bookings. How demand actually comes in comes in between now and your stay will determine the direction of hotel prices. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. bojangles311 Posted February 6, 2009 Author Report Posted February 6, 2009 I'm sorry i forgot to follow up. I ended up not using HOTWIRE or PRICELINE and found a good rate on Hotels.com . I ended up with the Planet Hollywood for $109. Thanks for the help everyone.
